$5 Million Main Replacement Project Results in Temporary Service Interruption July 19 For Certain Mechanicsburg Customers

Connection of a new water main associated with the company’s $5 million water infrastructure replacement in Mechanicsburg will result in a temporary service interruption to approximately 40 customers on portions of Charles, James and Gale Streets, as follows:  July 19 from approximately 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

These customers were notified about this phase of the project by written notice.  They are encouraged to store water in advance of the construction work in clean, food grade containers for use on July 19 during these hours.

When water service resumes, some customers could experience air in their water lines.  We advise running a basement or kitchen cold water tap to resolve this issue.

SUEZ thanks our Mechanicsburg customers for their cooperation and understanding in view of this major, ongoing infrastructure replacement project that will enhance water system reliability for decades to come.
