On 12/11/14, at approximately 12:20 p.m., Dajjon Wake was arrested on a warrant for the charges of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and Receiving Stolen Property. The charges were the result of an investigation into a robbery that had occurred on 11/12/14, in the 100 block of North Walnut Street at the Sun Up Market convenience store. Matthew Cawthern had been arrested for his part in the robbery on North Walnut Street. During the investigation into that robbery, it was found that Cawthern had also entered into another convenience store earlier that evening. Cawthern was interviewed and admitted that he had entered into the store in the 400 block of East Main Street, the Class A Sunoco convenience store, with the intent to commit a robbery at that location. Cawthern advised that he did not follow through with his plans and left the store.

Wake was found to have been with Cawthern during the attempted robbery and knew of his intentions to go into the first store and commit an armed robbery. Wake was not with Cawthern during the actual robbery, but admitted during an interview that he had met up with Cawthern later and was told that Cawthern had committed and robbery and was given cash that was taken. Both Wake and Cawthern also used drugs in a motel room that were paid for with money received from the robbery.

Wake was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Mark Martin and had bail set at $25,000. Wake is currently incarcerated at the Cumberland County Prison.
