On 10/24/16, at approximately 0900 hrs., the police department was dispatched to the first block of West Main Street for an active domestic. Upon arrival officers learned that the caller had been robbed by another female, later identified as Angela Jackson, 31, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The victim advised officers that a friend had stayed over at their apartment last evening. The victim woke up to a cell phone, charging cord around their neck, which was being held onto their throat by Jackson. The victim reported that Jackson had her bind herself around her wrists and ankles. The victim was told by Jackson not to scream or yell, that if the victim did so she would kill her or her baby, who was also at the apartment. Jackson then called for a cab and, after having the victim free her wrist and ankles, had the victim get into the cab. Jackson had the cab drive to an ATM where Jackson had the victim withdraw cash, which Jackson took. The cab was then driven to Harrisburg and then back to Mechanicsburg. Once the victim and Jackson exited the cab near the victim’s residence, she fled from Jackson and entered her apartment. Jackson kicked in the back door to the apartment, at which time the victim fled out of the residence and the police were contacted.
Jackson was located later in the afternoon and was taken into custody. She was eventually transported to the Cumberland County Prison were she was arraigned by the on call Magisterial District Judge. Jackson has been charged with Robbery, Endangering the Welfare of Children, Criminal Trespass, Terroristic Threats (2 counts), Unlawful Restraint, False Imprisonment, Theft and Criminal Mischief. Her bail was set at $250,000.
