A break discovered in another water main serving the West Marble Street Area has resulted in closure of a valve to make emergency repairs. Consequently, water service to 14 other customers was interrupted, in addition to the 13 customers notified of the service interrupution scheduled for today. The service interruption located on West Marble Street, between South Market and South High Streets, will be interrupted until approximately 5:00 p.m. today. When water service resumes, some affected customers could experience minor discolored water or air in their water line. They should run a first-floor COLD water tap to clear these issues, which could take several minutes. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank these customers for their cooperation.
