Originally from Lewistown, I’ve lived in the Borough of Mechanicsburg now for 19 years with my wife Lisa. We have three children that are now grown and starting families of their own (it’s interesting learning how to be a grandfather, but boy is it fun). We purchased a home here to raise our children in the small-town atmosphere we grew up in.
I have served the residents of Mechanicsburg for the last 12 years in many different capacities from councilman, codes and Zoning officer, to Planning Commission member. Since September of 2016 it is my honor to serve as the Borough Manager of Mechanicsburg. As a civil land development designer and construction manager in the past, it is great to use the skills and knowledge I acquired to help the residents of Mechanicsburg.
I like to study the history of Mechanicsburg and in my various positions with the Borough, I have met many of the residents and enjoy the discussions about the town. There are very few times I have talked with a resident that I have not learned something new about our town.
As Borough Manager, it is my duty to see that the wishes of Council are carried out and to work with them and the rest of Borough Staff to assure that the resident’s concerns are addressed in a timely manner and to the benefit of the entire Borough. There is a great group of people that make up the Borough Staff and it is great to get to work with so many talented people daily. I look forward to serving the residents for a long time to come and enjoy living in such a great community with great residents.
