At the November 15th Borough Council Meeting the Historic Architectural Review Board presented two Recognition of Excellence Awards and plaques. The Union Church was recognized for its Excellence in Preservation. Also recognized with a plaque was James and Rebecca Lawson of 700 South Market Street. The Board also presented two Certificates of Recognition. One was presented to Patlin Properties for the restoration work at 407 East Main Street. A Certificate of Recognition was awarded to Michael and Karen Fox for 414 East Main Street, however, they were unable to be present to receive the award.
